U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CPB) kondigde aan<\/a> dat Fase I van de Consolidated Administration and Processing of Entries (CAPE)-tool voor IEEPA-tariefrestituties op maandag 20 april 2026 gelanceerd wordt. CAPE zal dienen als de enige methode voor het indienen van restitutieverzoeken. <\/p>\n\n

Ter herinnering: deze tool consolideert IEEPA-restituties en rente, waardoor het niet langer nodig is om verzoeken per individuele aangifte in te dienen. Fase I ondersteunt alle niet-gezuiverde aangiften, evenals bepaalde aangiften binnen 80 dagen na zuivering. <\/p>\n\n

Om de CAPE-tool te gebruiken, MOETEN<\/strong> gebruikers een actief account hebben in het ACE-portaal van de CBP. Het is ook belangrijk om te bevestigen dat de juiste bankrekeninginformatie in ACE geregistreerd staat om een tijdige ontvangst van restituties te waarborgen. <\/p>\n\n
