Transpacific Eastbound Market: Local Port Charge (LPC) Effective 11 October 2024

Due to the significant increase in operational costs, in the event of labor unrest in the U.S. East Coast and U.S. Gulf Coast ports, CMA CGM will be implementing a Local Port Charge (LPC), effective 11 October 2024.

During any period of labor unrest, including but not limited to strike, lock-out, work stoppage or slow-down, LPC will be assessed on all shipments originating and discharging in U.S. ports.
