Scarbrough Global is excited to announce the acquisition of FlowFreight, a logistics company headquartered in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Founded in 2012, FlowFreight is an independent freight forwarder specializing in air, ocean, and ground import and export services. This move marks a significant milestone in Scarbrough’s history, establishing our first physical location in Europe.

“I feel this acquisition helps better reflect who we are as a company: global,” said Scarbrough CEO Adam Hill. “We are always looking for new avenues to enhance our service to our customers and finding a company with local ties that values customer relationships in a similar manner to us felt like a natural next step.”

Scarbrough will retain FlowFreight’s existing office and is thrilled to welcome its team to the Scarbrough Family. We look forward to leveraging  FlowFreight’s expertise in European markets to deliver innovative solutions and expand capabilities for our customers worldwide.

“What excites me most is the opportunity to combine our local expertise with Scarbrough’s global reach,” said FlowFreight founder Marvin Jon Cast. “From our base in the Netherlands, we aim to further expand in Europe to better serve our joint customers and create new value together.”

Scarbrough and FlowFreight have worked together for years in a forwarding agent capacity, building a foundation of mutual respect and collaboration. The alignment in business approach and FlowFreight’s genuine dedication to customer care were key factors in the decision to formalize this partnership.

The integration of FlowFreight into Scarbrough’s operations underscores our long-term vision of building a truly global logistics network – while maintaining the personalized service that has defined our success for more than four decades.
