Scarbrough Expands to the West Coast
The Scarbrough Group of Companies, headquartered in Kansas City, is pleased to announce its newest location with the opening of a West Coast warehouse and e-commerce fulfillment center in Sparks, Nevada.
Scarbrough Global of Companies acts as a full service international and domestic transportation provider, as well as a U.S. and Mexico Customs broker. The group comprises Scarbrough International, Ltd.; Six Lines, Ltd.; Scarbrough Logistics, Ltd.; Scarbrough Transportation, LLC; Scarbrough de Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V.; and Scarbrough Consulting, Inc.
Scarbrough’s fulfillment Center, located in Sparks, Nevada, is equipped with 30,000+ square feet of space and offers e-commerce fulfillment and distribution, as well as transload and devanning services.
“Adding Sparks to our warehouse network expands our 2-day ground coverage and provides our clients with additional options for e-commerce fulfillment,”
states Brad Scarbrough, Scarbrough’s Executive Vice President.
“Sparks is ideally located for a full West Coast distribution program outside the traditional high-cost port facilities,” continues Mr. Scarbrough.
In addition, all local UPS and Fedex centers are located under 4 miles from the center, and the location provides immediate access to the McCarren Loop & I-80, making transport only 4 hours from Oakland Port and 5 miles from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. Scarbrough’s nationwide fulfillment service, which makes up locations on the West Coast, Midwest, Southern border, and East Coast (coming soon!) is the perfect fit for many of our e-commerce clients.
Scarbrough’s current Chicago Warehouse manager, Rob Pingul, will open the facility in April 2019 and continue to manage operations with new local employees. Rob has nearly two decades of experience in the international and domestic shipping industry, and possesses a core value that differentiates Scarbrough from its competition – customer care.
